Converting Hexadecimal to Decimal Value in SQL Server

In this article, I will try to give information about converting Hexadecimal value to Decimal value in SQL Server.

In SQL Server, you may want to convert Hexadecimal to Decimal in some cases.

You can easily do this using the code below.

DECLARE @deger CHAR(12);
SET @deger = 'DDDDDD';
SELECT CONVERT(
                  VARBINARY,
                  CONVERT(UNIQUEIDENTIFIER, LEFT('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000', 36 - LEN(@deger)) + @deger)
              ) % 65536000;

When you run the above code, you will see a result similar to the one below.

As you can see, Hexadecimal value has been converted to Decimal value.
