In SQL Server, in some cases, you may want to find a table by column name.

You can easily do this using the code below.

SELECT COLUMN_NAME,
       TABLE_NAME
FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS
WHERE COLUMN_NAME = 'CategoryID';

When you run the above code, you will see a result similar to the one below.
