In SQL Server, in some cases you may want to know the last day of the month.

You can easily do this using the code below.

SELECT 'Last Day of the Month' AS 'ColumnName ',
       CONVERT(VARCHAR(10), DATEADD(dd, - (DAY(DATEADD(mm, 1, GETDATE()))), DATEADD(mm, 1, GETDATE())), 104) AS LastDayoftheMonth;

When you run the above query, you will see a result similar to the one below.

As you can see, the last day of the month information has arrived in SQL Server.
