Listing All Subfolders in Main Folder in SQL Server

In SQL Server, in some cases, you may want to list all subfolders within the main folder.

You can easily do this using the code below.

DECLARE @Table TABLE
(
    SubDir VARCHAR(500),
    Depth INT
);

INSERT INTO @Table
EXEC xp_dirtree 'D:\', 1, 0;

SELECT SubDir
FROM @Table;

When you run the above code, you will see a result similar to the one below.

As you can see, all subfolders in the main folder are listed.
