In this article, I will try to give information about formatting Credit Card number display in SQL Server.

In SQL Server, in some cases, you may want to not format the Credit Card number display.

You can easily do this using the code below.

DECLARE @creditCardNumber VARCHAR(16) = '1234567890123456'

SELECT
	STUFF(STUFF(STUFF(@creditCardNumber, 5, 0, '-'), 10, 0, '-'), 15, 0, '-')

When you run the above code, you will see a result similar to the one below.

As you can see, we haven’t formatted the Credit Card number view.
