SELECT TodayDateDiff = DATEADD(D, DATEDIFF(D, 0, GETDATE()), 0)
SELECT TodayDate= CAST(CAST(GETDATE() AS DATE) AS DATETIME)
SELECT TodayCast= CAST(CAST(GETDATE() AS VARCHAR(11)) AS DATETIME)
SELECT TodayConvert = CONVERT(DATETIME, CAST(GETDATE() AS VARCHAR(11)), 120)

When you run the above code block, you will see the following result.

As you can see, the time expression in the date information is not displayed. All four queries will yield similar results.
