Removing All Procedures in SQL Server

Hello everyone,

In this article, I will provide information on how to remove all procedures in SQL Server.

In SQL Server we may want to remove all procedures in some cases.

You can easily do this using the code below.

DECLARE @procName VARCHAR(500);
DECLARE cur CURSOR FOR SELECT [name] FROM sys.objects WHERE type = 'p';
OPEN cur;
FETCH NEXT FROM cur
INTO @procName;
WHILE @@fetch_status = 0
BEGIN
    EXEC ('drop procedure [' + @procName + ']');
    FETCH NEXT FROM cur
    INTO @procName;
END;
CLOSE cur;
DEALLOCATE cur;

When you run the above code, all procedures in the relevant database will be removed.

Good luck to everyone in business and life.
