In SQL Server, in some cases, you may want to list online and offline databases.

You can easily do this using the code below.

--Offline Databases

SELECT *
FROM master..sysdatabases
WHERE status & 512 = 512
      AND dbid > 4;

--Online Databases

SELECT *
FROM master..sysdatabases
WHERE status & 512 <> 512
      AND dbid > 4;

When you run the above code, you will see a result similar to the one below.
