Hello everyone,

In this article, I will try to give information about listing System Administrators in SQL Server.

In SQL Server you may want to list System Administrators in some cases.

You can easily do this using the code below.

SELECT name,
       type_desc,
       is_disabled
FROM master.sys.server_principals
WHERE IS_SRVROLEMEMBER('sysadmin', name) = 1
ORDER BY name;

When you run the above code, you will see a result similar to the one below.
